Our School Leaver Employment Support (SLES) is designed to help students move from school into employment, further education, and independent living. We combine skill development, real-world experiences, and coordinated support to ensure our clients are fully equipped for their next chapter in life.

We help adolescents with autism create a personalised transition plan based on their strengths, interests, and support needs. This involves supporting the client understand the opportunities available to them and the confidence to take action towards a path.

We teach the skills to help with initiating conversations, asking for help appropriately, understanding workplace hierarchy, interpreting feedback, resolving conflicts, and working effectively as part of a team.

We help individuals become ready for work with a focus on job skills, workforce readiness and employability skills. This also include highlighting and developing industry-specific skills.

Transition periods can be stressful for everyone, and even more so for adolescents with autism. We help clients develop stress management strategies and emotional regulation skills. We also support them with coping strategies when workplace challenges arise.

We help individuals with the necessary life skills to sustain work and life balance. We help our clients develop the skills such as travel training (public transport), personal organisation, budgeting and money management, cooking and nutrition, personal care and health management, time management and scheduling

Research shows that self-determination strongly predicts positive workplace outcomes. We provides programs that teach students to: understand their diagnosis and strengths, request accommodations, make decisions and set goals, communicate needs to employers or educators

Vocational skills development for adolescents with autism involves structured support to build the practical abilities needed for employment. Delivered by a developmental coach, it focuses on teaching workplace skills such as communication, time management, task completion, and problem-solving. Training is tailored to the young person’s strengths, interests, and learning style, often using real-life practice and step-by-step guidance. The benefits include increased readiness for employment, improved independence, and greater confidence in workplace settings.
