The Intellectual

Studies have shown that between 30% - 40% of individuals with autism also have an intellectual disability (NeuroLaunch). Support that is adaptable, flexible and personalised is required to ensure individuals reach their highest possible educational and intellectual standards.  

It is widely accepted that children, predominantly boys are struggling with attention and engagement in school. For those who fall under the neurodivergent category, the expectation to "sit down, be still and focus", can be a form of mental torture. 


Developing one's intelligence is a crucial facet of life, and ideally an ongoing pursuit. It should be relevant, rewarding, and ideally fun. 

For this reason, we approach this endeavour with leadership, and an open mind. By uncovering the individual's motivational cycle, interests & abilities and obstacles or triggers, we can then influence the circumstances to empower the individual to extract the best out of themselves over a sustained period of time. 


We support individuals by providing the assistance and mentorship to develop their intellectual and educational aspirations & abilities, through the below offerings:


The Educational

We support the individual in their educational studies by firstly providing the emotional supporting infrastructure, assisting the individual navigate any internal negative feelings and the structure to 'return to the exercise' when required. 

We also offer educational tools and techniques in: Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Technology, HSIE, PDHPE, Creative Arts, Commerce & Computer Technology to name a few, which can be delivered at home, in the library or even in the school. 

Executive Functioning Skills

The Executive Function describes the cognitive abilities and mental skills that help us plan, organise and execute tasks. It is often described as the CEO of our brain, regulating our impulses, manages our behaviour and guides our decision making. It is in a sense, the key instrument in helping up navigate the complexities of life. “Studies show that up to 80% of individuals on the autism spectrum struggle with executive functioning skills (Reference Advanced Autism Services).


Considering its importance and potential asset or obstacle in developing an individual's autonomy and competence - adequate time and energy is required to develop this space. We support individuals by co-creating routines and goals, collaboratively solve problems, and apply a number of strategies & interventions to assist the individual self-manage.

Career Pathways

For those of appropriate age, they may be beginning to think of life after school. This could be mean some obtaining a job of some sort, continuing in further education or perhaps neither and it is a blank page. Regardless of the next step, the unknown future has arrived at the door which can be very daunting, both from am emotional and a practical standpoint. 


We support individuals in various capacities, including mentorship, life coaching, knowledge sharing and self-management.
