The Physical can be divided into three separate branches: capacity building through strengthening & conditioning, mobility and balance, and cardiovascular exercises, all of which can benefit from in-home support and personal care.
The Intellectual focuses on learning activities and exercises that build capacity and enhance executive functioning skills, while also providing in-home support to uncover future growth trajectories in areas of personal care and expertise.
The Emotional framework encompasses theories about emotional intelligence, exercises aimed at capacity building for self-regulation, and methods to calm the nervous system. Additionally, it emphasizes the importance of offering conscious presence during emotional difficulties, which can be enhanced through in-home support and personal care.
The Fun includes all the activities that the individual loves to do, would like to try but faces some barriers (physical or mental), and those that can be selectively prompted to aid development in a certain area, such as through capacity building, in-home support, and personal care.
The Behavioural approach emphasizes the habits and behaviours that promote growth and wellbeing, while also focusing on capacity building through tools and techniques for self-regulation, including in-home support and personal care strategies.
